Default Need help pricing out a 2000 Aero car

it's at a local dealer. no CPO.

Here's what I know of the car so far:

*MY2000

*21K miles

*Silver/black

*6speed

*GT3 aero minus the rear strakes which is something I really like to make it the full kit so that's a minus here, but i'm sure they won't discount much

*Litronics

*Supple leather

*Full leather

*2-piece clubsport wheels - don't care much about the wheels since i will be purchasing 19" three piecers

Assuming it's in great shape, what do you guys think is fair price for this puppy? I live in Seattle.

I'd honestly rather have a well-maintained car from a rennlister, but turns out this thing's coming in tomorrow. Ideally, i want it to sit at like $42K. I know SANDOVAL sold his 2000 for like $43-4K but it had a lot more mods such as PSS9s and the GT3 seats. maybe 10K more miles on it. Also Tim W. is/was asking $44K for his 2001 aero with higher miles and just all right options. Both of them had RMS and i'm simply not going to buy a car with any sort of RMS history per cupcar's recommendation.

so if this car has no RMS (i'm well aware thx to y'all that it can creep in at any time), no accidents, no other huge red flags, and i can get it for $43K, i may well have my very first 911 at the ripe old age of 2-8.

Thanks in advance gentlemen,
Ben

Benj,
you've been lurking for a while, glad to see you're ready to bite! Yes, more than $45k for a '00 coupe, even with low mileage, would be hard to swallow. I think you're cut off point at $42k is definitely a fair one.

If I wanted a convertible, your cab is definitely a striking one Jammy jam. This seattle dealer actually has a silver cab just like yours sans aftermarket wheels with some awesome options. it comes with full carbon fiber kit as well as color-matched sport seats.

so this car doesn't sound like my ideal kit, but i'm wiling let go of a few things such as the color backed sport seats so i can join the 911 emergency club well before summer hits.

I would never let a RMS stop me from buying a car, if it has had a leak your going to walk away? Lots of great cars out there that have had it, **** if no one bought Porsche with out a few oil leaks, there would be no Porsches on the roads today! Good luck with your search, I hope you find what your looking for.

I understand your point of view, but then i don't at the same time.

i'm just not comfortable with it and it's also a recommendation made by Rob (cupcar#something) on the board. he seems to know his 911 stuff.

No RMS history for me pls.

Local Dealer = ?

If that is a Porsche dealer I would hand then a check for $42 and say 2 things need to happen for that deal (1) needs to be CPO and (2) PPI done at an indy or another P dealer must be complete.

It's not a porsche dealer. i just checked the car out today and it looks screen. no full leather. short shift. aluminum bits. body looks to be in great shape. weird tips on it. 2 owner car. 20K miles. the front aero bumper doesn't fit perfectly. somehow on the other edge the gap is bigger but i hear this is somewhat common, no?

They stickered it at $49.9K. WHAHAHAHHAHAHH I think $43K would be fair.

is the only way to get that verified thru getting the bumper inspected by a body shop? and the chassis as well as other bits?
