3% Hike on C4S
Guys/gals,
just had my local guy try and tag on an additional 3% on my 03' C4S. He's saying that it has been confirmed for first production 03'european deliveries. This is interesting. I've not seen any word of this. Can anyone confirm or refute this claim? If this is true, it does not necessarly apply to the NA market. So, whats the best way to handle this other than look for another dealer?
Cheers-

I don't know about that. After 3 cars at excellent discounts from this one dealership, they apologized that they had to give me the C4S at MSRP. It WAS one of the first to be delivered in the US, so that may have something to do with it. As far as I know, not too many C4S's are sitting at dealer's lots waiting for buyers. That usually gives the dealers confidence to sell at MSRP. Some buyers here have had discounts, highest I've read is $4K off MSRP on a C4S.
You won't be able to get a frim price since there is no MSRP as yet. You could ask this dealer to give you a firm dollars off MSRP, or percentage off MSRP. It's all about business, and profit. Shop around.

Appreciate the info. I'm hoping that by agreeing to take delivery in the dead of winter they would throw me a bone. I know for a fact they don't sell many C4S's when its -20C. with snow up to your undercarriage. May throw out a few request for quotation, give some of the other dealers a shot.
Cheers!
