Says they are stronger and lighter. To make the headr lighter the gauge of the steel would need to be reduced. To make it stronger you would need to bump the alloy. The first one is free the second one costs money. The grade could be anythig from 302 to 316. The seller doesn't elaborate.

I think they are all copies coming from the same place, looks like the fabspeed, looks like the schnell, looks like the ztek, and looks like the other new ebayer (can't remember the name). If they are all the same, why not go cheapest!
The suncoast are the only ones that look different imo. However, I'm sure it's a copy of someone and their bs is just a little more thought out...........................

Orton performance is the official importer for some high-end german stuff...Manthey i believe?
They post on 6speed and i think on rennlist as well (i think under the username Neil@Orton). I havn't seen/heard/used their product so i'm not going to pass judgement on it, but as a company they have recieved some praises for service and quality over on 6speed online.
dallasboats: i hear you about the copies. I was contacted by a chinese company who said they could make any exhaust as long as I sent them a sample to work with. As much as I would love to see my name on a part, if all i'm doing is knocking off a part that has been knocked off like 10 times already, there's no point unless i can bring the cost down to a reasonable level. I mean, at least tinker and experiment, change the shape, the type of alloy used, something to diffrenciate u kno.

If the eBay seller's photos are accurate, then those are not the Schnell, zTek, etc. The collectors/welds look different. I guess the question is whether the Fabspeeds at $1400 produce twice the HP?

If the headers are lighter to reduce mass then you may have an issue with fatigue. 302, 304 and 316 are all fairly good at resisting fatigue at exhaust gas temps. As the cross section is reduced the forces acting on the tubes have less area to work with. So, force per unit area goes up.
On the manufacturing side what wire and purge practice are they using? A car with a fresh paint job looks great but what's under the paint?
