OKay, I've got an '83 944 that is in need of a major upgrade/overhaul/improvement. I've got a spare 951 engine from a guy and will be getting the 951 drivetrain soon. Since I've got most of the suspension and such under control, I thought I'd start planning for the inside. I will be taking the dash out completely and fiberglassing a new one. In doing so, I can make the interior into whatever I desire. I really like the 996 guage panel and would like to integrate it into my dash. (I'm not privy to the newer cars except for specs, but I'm referring to the one with the overlapped guages) I've never seen this done before so I didn't think the guys over there would have much to say except "leave it alone". How boring is that? I would appreciate measurements (HxWxD) and also an approx. cost of a dash (or if any of you have a spare ). There's a lot I like about the 996, so I proabably will be coming back for more help. Thanks in advance.
