of course not, but i don't quite get it...

u mean u want to use 17" tires in 19" wheels???

also, did u order 19x11s for the rear? i think it's gonna be too wide for the narrow C2

I am an HRE dealer, trust me 11's on the rear of a reg. C2 WILL NOT FIT. I am not sure if this is what you have, but it sounds like it. 10's are the largest for the rears!!!

Thanks, just to be clear, I ordered 19x11 after double checking with HRE , and my question is:

Is the +.6" tires diameter difference (17`s VS 19`s ) is inside the "tolerances" without affecting speed reading, etc? .

Thanks in advance,

Jorge

yes, the tire size is fine, but a 285 will stretch quite a bit on a 11" rim - it looks and fits better on a 10.5 IMO...we recommend 10.5 as the max fitment, but an 11 CAN work, but sometimes it is more hassle than it is worth - plus, you aren't gaining any lip going to a 11" from a 10.5".

I recommend a 295 as the minimum on an 11" rim, but that is too tall for a C2...

I don't understand why you want to get 11" on the back. There are ten reasons not to, and no reasons for it?

If you want to track the car for more grip, those are not track wheels plus you will suffer from understeer(too much unsteerable grip going straight esp. on a C2). Appearance wise from the outside there is no difference between 10 and 11. The lip on the outside will be the same size.

i agree with Keyvan. i put 11 on my C4S, and i'll use 315 tires. i can believe u can fit that on a C2 without mod, period!
