Default Oil Temp Gauge or Reading Available???

So I know we can get water (coolant) temp readings from the dash and more accurately accessing the ODBII port and can get other readings like oil pressure. But can we get oil temp as well? Is there a gauge anybody has installed or is there an OBDII reading for it? If it is, then I can't seem to find it in the OBDII software.

TIA!

Asking on the wrong board Dell?

There are lots of things you can read if your OBD II tool can handle custom requests. You can read the following via OBD II:
Engine rpm
Load signal
Air mass
Mass air flow sensor
Vehicle speed
Voltage
Intake air temperature
Engine temperature
Throttle valve angle
Ignition angle
Spec. air mass
Spec. air adaptation
Ambient pressure
Injection time
Exhaust temperature after TWC (three-way catalytic converter) (value calculated by ECM)
Oil temperature
Oxygen sensing, cylinders 1 - 3
Oxygen sensing, cylinders 4 - 6
Adaptation value, area 2, cylinders 1 - 3 (FRA)
Adaptation value, area 2, cylinders 4 - 6 (FRA2)
Adaptation value, area I, cylinders 1 - 3 (TRA)
Adaptation value, area 1, cylinders 4 - 6 (TRA2)
Voltage, oxygen sensor ahead of TWC, cylinders 1 - 3
Voltage, oxygen sensor 2 ahead of TWC, cylinders 4 - 6
Voltage, oxygen sensor after TWC, cylinders 1 - 3
Voltage, oxygen sensor 2 after TWC, cylinders 4 - 6
Trip counter
Time counter after engine start-up
Camshaft position 1 deviation (cylinders 1 - 3)
Camshaft position 2 deviation (cylinders 4 - 6)
Rough running threshold value
Rough running
Segment A
Segment B
Learning progress of sensor wheel adaptation
Misfire detection
Engine compartment temperature
Oxygen sensor heating resistance after TWC
Oxygen sensor heating resistance ahead of TWC

Definitely posted on the wrong board. I was just too lazy to click over to Renntech when I got that thought in my head. I just posted away without thinking. SO it looks like oil temp is something I can actually read. I am going to be adding an OBD program to my hadheld so I can read some vital stats from the car (temp, etc.) but I have no idea if the software I am looking at will allow for an oil temp reading. I guess I need to just shoot an email off to the company.

By the way, what program is that screenshot of? And a -54 exhaust temp??? Where was that? The North Pole

LOL - screenshot from my PST2. I didn't start my car to take the readings so those are cold overnight. My guess is the exhaust temp after the cat is taken from the (normally heated) O2 sensor and since the car was not running it is a bogus reading.
