speed yellow seatbelts for my 2003 911
hey, my name is Ashley and i own a 2003 porsche 911 cab. The car is speed yellow with black interior. I am looking for yellow seat belts to spice up the interior a little, but when i called a porsche dealer they could not order me the belts. i found out that when you spec out a car you may order the yellow belts. so this tells me that they are out there. do you have any recommedations on where i could purchase yellow seat belts for my car and how much they might cost?
if you can help please email some info.
thanks,
Ashley

Ashley,
I believe the issue is the liability of changing seatbelts, hence the cost.
Obviously, it would have been easier to specify the belts at the time of build for a much smaller cost.
This is also the case with other car manufacturers, but Porsche just charges a lot more!
Enjoy your car,

Ashley,
My observations:
1. The speed yellow belts do not exactly match the speed yellow exterior (they're brighter).
2. Once they get dirty (from contact w/ skin, clothing, etc), they're very hard to clean.
3. You look kinda like a school crossing guard w/ yellow belts across your person.
Just my humble opinion. I just ordered a speed yellow '03 C2 w/ yellow console and sports seat backs, no yellow stitching (interior is graphite grey w/ natural grey carpet), and I decided not to order yellow belts after seeing them on a TT.

That crossing guard uniform "look" might work for Ashley.

Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes...
hell, my wife thinks I'm nuts for replacing my perfectly respectable seal-grey C2 with a
speed(ing ticket)yellow car. Just MHO...
