I do not believe it is wise to condition the leather too often (i.e. weekly). It will potentially soften excessively particularly at the stitching and decrease, rather than increase the life of it.
You may want to try Connolly Hide Food which seems to penetrate better than Lexol, also better scent.
TOM 919, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SELLING YOUR SEATS I MAY BE INTERESTED. E-MAIL ME @ WWW.ZDT@PACIFIER.COM. I NEED THE DARK GRAY COLOR.
THANKS TONY CALVERT 2000 C4
I read awhile back from a leather expert that denim blue jeans cause significantly more wear on car leather than all other pant materials - it's like sandpaper . And a fun car like a Porsche is going to get a disproportionate amount of "weekend denim" total seat time . So I guess you'll have to wear khaki slacks or "Dockers " from now on !
I have a cab and strap my self in a special harness that hangs from the ceiling in my garage. I winch myself up in the air and move my self over my seats and set myself down gently in my car.
I then unstrap the harness from the winch.
After my drive I simply reverse the process attaching my harness, which i leave on, to the strap and hoist myself out. The winch is electrically controlled which makes the process easier.
