Default Change Language in PCM

Hi,

I just bought a 996 C2 Cabrio but it comes with the PCM in German. How do I change that to English ?

I don't have PCM (well...actually I have yet to even see the 996 my dad bought) but I know it's in the manual and it's in a way that can be figured out even if you don't know German because when we rented one in Germany I was able to figure out how to change the language. Just flip around the manual until you find the part about nav and then look for words that were either in bold or all caps I forget which, that way it tells you basically what you need to be pushing.

Yeah, I know, I wasn't much help, but still I guess it'll give you motivation to figure it out knowing that someone who's knowledge of German is limited to "Enschulengenzie, habenzie der kinderei" was able to.

Turn PCM on by pressing in **** at lower left of screen. Press 'BC' button next to the center 'navigation' button. Select 'Einstellen' by rotating **** to lower right of screen and press in. Select 'Sprache' with same ****. Rotate to select desired language and press **** in. Then select 'Ja' and press ****. You should be good to go in a few minutes.

buy a german dictionary and learn a new language while driving (can be a little difficult) maybe having a german girlfriend for a little while!!)
