Cabriolet Hardtop--Excessive Noise
Has anyone experienced excessive noise from the rear posts of the hardtop when installed? Everytime the body flexes or rides over rough road, the posts rattle (or better yet, groan) although they have been inserted properly and tightened by the shop.
Any suggestions?

I found a couple of times that I had to release and reseat the top. This solved the problem.
The other possibility is the two small slots in the front header panel where the tabs fit might need a bit of padding. Most dealers have a self-stick felt material or velcro tape that can fit folded into those slots. This cinches the top just a bit but does not throw off the alignment at all.
