Default PSE Mod gone awry.... uh oh!!

Does anyone know what happens if you accidently remove this one instead??? Any detrimental effect to removing the relay?

It should not have any negative repercussions, UNLESS you drive a 40th Anniversary 996... if so, then….... Just kidding! Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

Seriously, I don't know what impact removing that diode may have on the car. Can you re-solder the connection back onto the circuit board?

PSE - Porsche Sports Exhaust. Fantastic sound!

The mod is to cut the diode and thus also enable PSE below the cut off RPM (3500?)

I run mufflers only myself and would never go back to stock again

It's easier (and less risky) to cut the grey/pink speed sensor wire a few inches before it connects to the relay. And it's reversible.
