Like Dell, I also have the 5mm spacers AND the longer bolts (it all comes together in the OEM package). I would say it is imminently noticeably while still remaining subtle. It just fills out the wheel wells a 'touch' better without looking obnoxious. One of the problems with the rear 17mm offset is that the wheel just looks too far out from the car and reminds me too much of a Ricer look. The lines of the 911 are too spectacular to have a wheel sticking out and ruining it.

I went with 17mmR/5mmF
Works perfect ! Car looks so much nicer now.
No difference in handling (from a daily driver point of view).

I posted a write-up last week of my install + some nice pictures. Perform a search under my name.

I wouldn't bother with 3mm

Very noticeable and perfect for me. Some like more agressive offsets but I think the 5mm kit is perfect.

Hey LV, I only need a tiny 3mm up front because my rim is slightly rubbing up against the collar of my bilstein PSS9's. So do you think I can get the 3mm and not have to get the extended bolts?

^ To be safe then I would go with the 5MM teq kit that comes with the PROPER bolts and locks as well.

Yes on looks; no on driving difference. The Tequipment is really a well-engineered (but expensive) setup.

Golly....just my opin guys but I sure wouldn't waste my time with 3-5mm .....what's 3mm, something like less than 1/8".....my eyes aren't good enough to see that.....congrats if you can.

Here's the equivalant of 15mm rear, 9mm front (on 18" 8J, 10J).....ie 43 and 50mm offset on these HRE's (on a lowered narrow body).

Sorry to say Gregg, but it just looks like your rear wheels stick out a bit too much and obsure the curve of the wheel wheel around the tire. To my eye, the wheels are not supposed to be flush with the fender in terms of design, but just inside. Gives it that classic look.

I will add that your wheels look terrific though from what I can see.

We differ.........actually it's the only thing I don't like on the venerable 356....but thanks for the compliment on the wheels.....here's one more.

Greg I just ordered 15mm rear and 7mm front.....love the way your P looks....I don't think the 2mm in front will make much of a visual difference....
