Importing GT3 (now possible!?!)
I am thinking about making an applciation to the NHSTA for an exception under the show or display rules. I need some help on this from all those out there...
1. Exactly how many were produced (by year if possible)(hopefully less than 500)
2. What is amazing technically about the car.. it holds the record for fastest normally aspired street car around nuremburg (anyone have documentation on this)
3. Anything anyone can come up with linking the car to GT3 race cars at LeMans or the like?
email me if you come up with anything
testdrv321@aol.com
P.S. bad news is the car still has to meet emissions tests -which I've been told is do-able but not easy.

I would suggest to go to the 996 board at www.funcarsonline.com and ask the board host CFG (Chris from Germany) about this. His business in Germany is in selling and exporting cars (he has a GT1 for sale now!) and I'm sure he can help.
