Chicago Area Maintenance Shops?
Hello, new 99 911 owner in need of 60K service. Don't want to get ripped by dealer...can anyone recommend a reputable shop in the Chicago area (or Northern Suburbs)? What can I expect to pay?
Thanks in advance

Yes, I have a great shop! Try Golz Motors in Deerfield. Ask for Jeff Goelz, the President/Owner, and tell him Adam Levine sent you. I have sent many people there and none have gone back to the P dealer since. Golz specializes in Porsche, BMW and Jaguar. They are incredibly knowledgeable. Phone is 847-317-9880. No affilliation just a very happy customer.

This is who I use downtown:
Vaia Inc Auto Specialist
(312) 733-0076
844 W Lake St
Chicago, IL 60607
Ron Vaia is the owner. Been around for 20 plus years I think. Great with Porsches and foreign cars. Brought my 1999 996 to him for 3 years straight. Always been happy, and most importantly he's as honest as they come. No affiliation.

Burning Brakes
Eurosport in Bensenville. Close to the train station if you need to drop it. Two brothers own it (George is one) and they sponser all the PCA events in the Chicago area. Most diehard porsche poeple in Chicago go there. All they do is Porsche.
