I am going to PDE and want to capyure some video. How can I mount a video camera in a stock 996 that has no rollcage etc.? Any help in this truly appreciated.

You'll need a harness bar that's hooked up from B-pillar to B-pillar(where safety belt is hooked up and then a camera mount mounted on the harness bar in order to avoid a roll cage). There is certain camera mounts with suction cups but heard maybe not allowed for tracking. Regards. Mike

AFAIK, cameras have to be bolted on for all DE's. Harness bar plus mount is the cheapest I've been able to come up with. But, this obviously is not an option at PDE.

Ditto above posts. See my answer to your post on the other forum. I'm surprised that the pde cars would not have harnesses. If you enjoy the pde you may want to try some PCA driver education events. In that case a harness bar and a camera mount would be a not very expensive but a worthwhile investment.
I did the Skip Barber Racing School and the videotaping was included at no cost. It is a great memento of the experience. And you can proove to your friends that you actually did it. Maybe PDE should find a way to include videotaping as well.
