Was 35. Always bought good road cars (Hondas and Toyotas) because I spent over 200 days a year travelling doing clubs.
Always wanted a Porsche, so when I got established in Vegas, I traded in the Civic.
Wish I would have known 10 years ago how much I would enjoy driving the P Car.

at 24 i bought my bedroom wall poster car - a Lotus Esprit Turbo SE. Mustard Yellow. Awesome performance car with unbeatable handling - when it was working!!
It forced me to buy a porsche by living up to its acronym - Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious
at 26 i bought a 1998 Boxster.
Sold the Boxster last October and replaced it with a new Audi A4 estate TDI, believeing that a new baby and a shiny new Audi estate would cure my car addiction. Totally wrong!!
2 months later (now 30) i got my 996 Carrera 4 cab. and thanks to the quinny stroller it can be a good weekend car for the family!!

19.... In 1959 I bought a 1952 Club Racer "Spyder", for $125. from an auto wrecker whos couldn't junk it for more than $25, because it was so light.
The car deserved to be there. That was before the romance took over......

18 yrs, 914 1.7L for $3,800. I bought it without my parents knowledge and kept it at a friends house for about 2 weeks.
It was a beautiful example and lot's of fun but not very reliable. It later spent most of it's time broken in Mom and Dad's garage. I later sold it while in College, not running, for $2k.
My first real Porsche, a 996 C4 was purchased at 30.

At 24 I bought my first Turbo - a 1986. Then 2 years later, an 89. So far that has been my favorite car of all - drove like a race car with a very stiff clutch - especially compared to the 996.

57! I win. My C4S is my first P-car - many BMWs, Audi's and even a perfect '65 e-type fixed head coupe and a '67 Triumph TR4A-IRS. After all is said and done, there truly is no substitute!!
