A friend just emailed me about a '99 C2 partial aero coupe (no taco or rear bumper extensions).
It's black on black, sport seats with silver painted backs, silver console, 3 spoke steering wheel, 18" wheels, sport suspension (looks like M030), no sunroof, 58k miles.
My friend (Chris) is a fellow rennlister but is having trouble logging into the site so I've taken the liberty of forwarding your email address to him.
Cheers,
Stan

Don't like it. No tail which is the most expensive part of the aerokit. Horrible wheels. No litronics. High-miles for what I want. How long do these clutches last?

Sand, sell your car.

Brakes.... who needs them, they have been back on for a few weeks. BTW Drove it today!... Went down town you would have thought I was driving a Yellow Enzo. Not much Eye candy here in Denver.

I'd love that car, and I would totally pay 45K, but I don't have it. 35K I can do, maybe even 37K stretch, but 45 is just unaffordable at this point in time.

mona i'd hate to say it but sounds like a non-aerokit 996 is more in line with your price range. i've done some research and an aerokitted 996 with TLC to back it up is going to cost high $30s to low $40s depending on year. you should've picked up that red one from seattle. i can vouch for that seller and the car.

Whoa, that yellow aero coupe is at Momentum -- my neck of the woods. The description says it's an '00 996, and yet it's listed as a 3.6l?

Yeh, I tend to agree with you, but I am chasing what looks to be a really promising lead right now on a car through a friend of a friend the family. I will be seeing it this Sunday....

What I know at this point: Silver 1999 C2 Aero, <50,xxx miles, 6speed manual, GT3 headers, GT3 exhaust, full leather, litronics, 3 spoke wheel, and from what I am told, TONS more options.......$38,000

I have never seen the car, nor the options list, but I am told it is 100% perfect........The PPI will prove or disprove that one

Of course, I will let you all know more as soon as I know more.
