Are you sure about that? There are very specific numeric ranges for the transmission and engine codes so if PAG were sticking remanufactured engines into brand-new cars the number series wouldn't match?

He said reworked, not remanufactured. For most people who work in manufacturing, reworked stuff is still sold as new.
