Post Wheel identification, etc on new car

Just sold my 95 993 and bought an 00 996. Almost identical miles and I see the differences as a matter of personal choice. I liked the 993 bulges, but the 996 is superior in other ways and I like it as a total package myself.

It has 18" twist wheels bought from the dealer, but it came with 17" so I have no records. How can I tell if they are the turbo hollow spoke or turbo look, or just what they are exactly?

Also, the original tire size was upgraded from the 00 model 265/35 to the 02 size of 285/30. I have calculated there is a 2% difference so I wonder if the 02 has a different speedometer gear and if I should change it?

One last item. I need to deactivate the airbag(s)on the passenger side. I have thought to buy the childs seat and just cut off the device or buckle or whatever and leave it in the car. Is this possible? I am not sure how this all looks and works. I used an aftermarket switch on the 993 and this worked fine, but I would need 2 and it seems the childs seat would be as cost effective now. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance. I will now leave the 993 guys alone and frequent this section of Rennlist so get ready for amateur questions.

Solid spoke: Rubber valve stem and ribbed surface behind spokes
Hollow spoke: Metal valve stem and smooth surface behind spokes

Not to worry. A 2% difference is not noticeable.

Thank you. They are the hollow spoke according to your criteria. I guess these are better?

Not necessarily but they are lighter for sure.
