Hey guys, I'm looking to find a nice used set of carrera wheels. The 5 spoke ones that came on the 02-03 Carreras. Heres a picture:

If anyone is selling a set, or knows of someone selling a set, I'd like to get in touch with them. Thanks!

(the pics are from www.944s2.com, they are the only pics I've found of a 944 with these exact wheels)

You want real, you can get some good deals from wheelenhancement.com. Prices range from the expensive brand new, as-new take-offs from new cars, to used. Not GREAT deals as you would get from direct private sales, but is an option. Bought a single as-new turbo rear to replace one that got badly scraped by a curb. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

If you want replicas, there are a bunch on e-bay. Here is a link for one set At $749 18" X 8" ET 50 MM offset and 18" x 10" ET 65 MM offset. BTW, I have no affiliation with the seller, just have been looking for alternate wheels the last week or so.

as far as i've seen on here, the general concensus is nobody would buy replica wheels. however, these are also the same people that wont use anything but genuine porsche coolant, tire valve covers, centercaps, etc.
I've been looking to upgrade when I sell my current wheels and I'd consider a set of replicas if weight wasnt an issue. If I were tracking the car I might not go with replicas not only because they are heavier but they may not be as strong, but I suspect for street use there's no way you'd notice the difference in strength.

Isn't the weight diffrenence only about 3 lbs / wheel? Buy the replicas, only take thin passengers, save $1800 (wheel enhancement is quoting 2650 + Tax and I think shipping ... no used sets available),

BTW, some replicas are only marginally heavier than the OEM wheels. I was looking at some 18" Sport Design replicas (10 spoke) and they are 24 lb for 8" front & 28 lb for 10" rears.

If you are patient there are deals to be had. I bought mine from Suncoast (FL) for $2200 on eBay as brand new take offs with brand new tires on them. That was a steal!

Sweet, I'm going to be tracking the car, so in the wheels department I'd like to buy origional Porsche stuff. As far as cooland, oil, etc...haha, I use what I think is best, but I don't go to the dealer for it. Thanks guys!

If you don't mind telling, what were the wheels you were looking at? I've been perusing ebay for some wheels as well.
TIA
