Default EVOMS V-Flow on X-51

Anybody have a EVOMS V-Flow on an X-51 engine?

Any additonal engine mods along with it? I have added GHL "louds" only and am very happy with them.

What has been your experience? Any real change in performance or just sound?

Thanks.
Mike

I have the EVOMS V-Flow with the Fabspeed. I feel it's has better trottle response but have an issue with blipping the trottle on a downshift...doesn't rev up as fast as in stock. Sound is so much better, performence "seems" better but some days I'm woundering if it's all in my head...Also, the 40 Ann as an extra tube coming out of the conduit beteen the trottle and the air filter. My dealers mechanics couldn't explain what that was form (scary ??!!??) they told me that tiptronic had a similar tube. As a result I had to get a hole drilled in the EVOM as well as a small tube punch welded.

If I had to do it again, I might skip the EVOM and just put on the Porsche Sport pipes instead.

We actually did a couple of 40th anny's with the V-Flow and a Fabspeed Exhaust but sadly they did not stick around enough for a dyno However I did notice better throttle response... We used the Tiptronic "kit" on that one too and it was a-ok

Sharky

Still would like to see a pic of the nozzle.
Does it come installed in the V-Flow or would I install it?
What is the tube it is connected to?
Why does an X-51 manual car have this tube like a Tip ?

Anyone else have any experience or opinion of this mod on an X-51?

Thanks.

The EVOMS intake we installed on our car has been a great experience. Combining with our Fabspeed mufflers and GIAC reflash, the overall improvements are extremely noticeable. Even before the reflash, the throttle response was much faster, mid range to high rpm power increase was greater as the car was able to breathe better.

We have sold many of these kits to customers and never have had one complaint. Check out these pics of the installed kit -

Here is an editorial i did on the install with more pics -

This is just my opinion, but definitely changing out your intake system will free up some much needed flow on your car. Whether it is standard, X51, or 40th the intakes include necessary fitment for tip and 6speed to accomondate all models.

We do offer specials on this product for Rennlisters. PM me.

Thanks Dan, but the question he was asking was to see a picture of the Tiptronic version with the extra tube. You posted one from a 6speed... He already has the intake so no need to sell him one
