I saw a post with different owners talking about an unusual dashboard sound. Mine has it periodically and it sounds like loose marbles inside (best way to describe it). I am wondering what anyones resolution of this noise has been? Mine is '01 996 coupe 9k miles, otherwise as tight as you know what.

There is a 9 page TSB that deals with noises in the dash area. Most fixes involve teflon tape, felt tape, sponge rubber tape and tie-wraps. Your dealer should be able to fix this. If you are not under warranty let me know and I can email you the TSB.

I agree with the windshield, the dealer lubed all the way around and the sound went away. It was getting real bad too, thought the windshield was going to crack.
