RoW installed on 996 = magic
definetly how the 911 SHOULD have come stock. went out to a track day at Roebling on Friday and put about 200 track miles on the car, testing out the new suspension the car is absolutely a blast! it feels so much more connected and braking is noticably much more stable than before. amazing! new life has been put into this car and me as well.
thank you all for reccomending the RoW mod, and i highly reccomend it to anyone else whos looking for an easy upgrade from stock

Robert - I have also been considering this mod. Where did you get the RoW M030 kit and what kind of price did you get? Who did the install and how much was that?

Installed the RoWM030 last year on my car and it changed OVERNIGHT! That is how it should have come to begin with. There is always the X73/74 option if you want a more agressive stance/handling/etc.
My RoWM030 had a drop of about 22-24mm in front and 15-18mm in the rear. As well, the stability of the car at speed is night and day compared to before. No more loose front end and a more planted feel in corners and hard braking. Best 2K (parts and pabor) I even spent on the car.

actually i got the kit from another rennlist member (Dell, i AM a paid member, but my renewal just hasnt shown up yet )
havn't driven it on the street yet - car mostly sees track days anyway. but the difference on track is amazing, the car feels planted in turns and no more front end lift or dive under heavy braking, turning, and acceleration. cost was about $900, included an oil change and alignment as well as replacing some small part that broke when they were removing the old suspension

Anyway, here's the thing, and perhaps Jon or Chris will be able to shine some light too: How is the suspension going to handle the crevices (I mean, potholes) in NYC? It's my only real cause for delay and concern.
My pop has the 2004 C4S with the sport suspension and it seems to do well enough if I look carefully on the road for nasty surprise. From what I can gather, the RoW M030 should be the same type feel, right? In other words, is the C4S a pretty fair analogy for what my 2000 C2 will feel like with the RoW installed, ignoring the height change?
Thanks guys. DRIVE hard and far!

Only get on those that use this board for their personal benefit (ie, for sale items, etc.) yet don't feel the need to contribute. Not to mention it is a violation of the Rennlist charter.
However, I would never get on somebody for contributing in ways other than through paid membership (ie, advice, help, etc).
It's just those that act entitled and take advantage of the system to their benefit or just use this community as a sounding board for their own personal bit*h sessions. BTW, it's not just me that is chaps, it's many others, I just happen say what others might not want to.
