Lost my chin spoiler this morning from my Aerokit front spoiler. It is the lip that hangs down below the front spoiler, you know... the piece that you always scrape on parking blocks and driveways... any rate. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Does anybody know the part number for the chin spiler, or even if it is available on its own.

Here are the part numbers:

Spoiler Lip -- 996 505 986 00 (comes as black only)
Plastic Rivet -- 999 507 427 40 (11 required)
Tapping screw -- 999 073 062 02
Spacer (plastic washer) -- 994 503 255 00

I wanted a spare and was quoted $70 by one dealership and $40 from another for the spoiler... so shop around.

Is this the GT3 lip in front?

Yes. It is the small lip spoiler that attaches to the bottom of the aerokit/GT3 bumper.

Has anyone purchased this front spoiler lip recently? Loren, where did you find the part for $40? The dealer told me they are on back order.

This was a while ago, $40 was from a private seller (he was going to put it on eBay). The dealer had quoted me $70 (with PCA discount) but I do know they have had a least one price increase on parts in the last year.

Thanks Loren, I was also told by the dealer that the part was $70. I guess I will keep looking for a dealer with one in stock.

I think I paid about $85-90 with all the parts and shipping from Suncoast Porsche.
