I am a little over thrilled with the entire idea of owning a 2003 C4S.
So, my neigborhood has a couple of Prosches coming and going. The ones I see most often is a silver and a black, but there are a couple of others that must not be driven often.
Anyway, today the silver C2 pulled into the local branch bank drive-thru just in front of me.
I got out of my truck and walked up and started talking to the female driver. At first she was quite cold, but soon loosen up a little and explained that the spoiler was an aftermarket product.
It was my first encounter with someone who actually owns the car.
I probably will not do it again. BTW, I was driving a Ford Truck and it may have influenced the way she reacted to me.

I think because she's a woman and all she's probably thinking your going to do something bad so of coarse she reacted the way that she did and from all the crap you hear on tv/radio/news it's scary out there. 1st impressions- true you're driving a truck but if you were in a BMW or something maybe a different response. I think you'll probably get a different reaction if it were a man. Regards. Mike
Mike: I think you are right. After all she really told me what I wanted to know about the spoiler and was quite knowledgable about it.

If you are not a member already, PCA is an excellent way to meet other Porsche owners. Florida Crown Region is very active in the Jacksonville area. They do a number of driver eds at Roebling Road in Savannah as well as a club race there. They also do some concours events, and monthly socials. They are a pretty friendly group.

This is where a Cayenne would be useful versus a Ford Pick-M-Up. If you drive a Porsche Cayenne you most likely would own a Porsche, Coupe, Cab, Turbo etc.
