I have a 2003 C4S. It has a slight wobble felt in my seat at low speeds, coasting about 5 - 10 mph. I've had it aligned, any ideas?

That's odd. Assuming you don't have a bent rim which would increase the wobble at higher speeds do you think it could be a bearing or control arm problem?

Still odd that it happens at very low speeds, unless it's happening at higher speeds but you don't notice it.

Two questions: 1. Do you feel any vibration in your steering wheel or is it just in the seat? 2. Does the wobble go away when the tires are warmed up?

When I detect a steering wheel vibration, it's generally because of a bent wheel or an unbalanced wheel, but the vibration typically occurs at high speeds. Wheel alignments are to cure uneven tire wear problems, and not vibrations.

If the wobble goes away after the tires are heated up, you could be developing a flat spot on your tires, especially if your car sits idle for relatively long periods of time.

New tires, balanced, aligned, a slight bent rim repair before I posted.

Hey... I just got new Conti's for the rear and they are SQUARE. Tire rack sent me new ones, they go on tomorrow. Check the new tires!
