Question does anyone have experience with yokohama avs sport tires?

Yes, I ran these on <a href="http://patedwards.net/wheels.html" target="_blank">my 928</a> and they are absolutely fabulous in the dry and positively suck in the wet... not just suck they REALLY REALLY SUCK badly in the wet. If you are doing anything but going in a straight line ... get ready for a the sliding ride of your life.

The wear is average particularly for a sticky Z rated tire.

Currently on my C4 I am running the Toyo Proxes T1-S excellent tire i am quite impressed.

YMMV,

I seem to be following you around, Ignacio. We are about at the same stage in car ownership as far as wear and tear.

Here are two comoarative tests, one for each tire. If you combine the two, you can get an idea.

<a href="http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/mi_pilot_sport_rd.jsp" target="_blank">Assims</a>

<a href="http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testResultsModel.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVS+Sport" target="_blank">Yoko</a>

The Yokos look great, but they are rated lower by TireRack.
