Questions about Porsche Driving Experience
I am planing going to PDE. However, I do not know which course should I take. One day or two days? Well, 2 days has much more track time, but 1 day is cheaper. Anyone go to either one day or two day course. Please help me to decide. BTW, how much did you guys spend on the trip (hotel, transportation from/to airport, on track insuracne)? Thanks in advance. <img src="graemlins/r.gif" border="0" alt="[king]" />

Mav,
I did the one day at Road Atlanta (Father's Day present from my wife and kids).
If I were to do it all over again, I would do the 2 day, since to qualify for the Master's Program, you need to complete the 2 day first (the 1 day doesn't count).
Even with the 1 day program, we spent the entire afternoon doing hot laps around in groups following instructors (~ 3.5 hours). End of day top speed was 115. At the end of the day, you are a passenger as the instructors take you out for real hot laps and the instructors have some fun (top speed for them was 140)
I stayed with family South of Atlanta, so I dont know about hotels, but the PDE staff sends you an information package with hotels, directions, etc.
You won't regret either choice.

Recently signed up for the two day PDE early this December. Everybody I spoke with recommended the 2-day. There is a list of hotels provided when you confirm. Good luck.

Mav,
Spend the extra money and do the 2-day course at Road Atlanta. I completed it last summer and will soon do the Masters course. I got in nearly 300 miles over the two days and learned too much to list here. The instructors and the overall cirriculum are awesome.
