Year 2000 996 C2, Black on Black, 17,000km
Porsche Options: GT3 Aerokits, HiFi, PSM,
Litronic Headlamp... and more
Modification: 19 inch BBS LM wheels,
B&B exhaust, H&R Suspension,
RUF short-throw
Total purchase Price was $127,000 before Tax
Lease takeover - lease expires Dec/2004
monthly payment of $1383
(tax included)
buyout price is $39,000 plus
tax
By the time the lease expires, the car will still worth at least $70,000 to $75,000, or EVEN MORE, as we see how some 95 or 96 993 still sell for
70K to 80K
I am asking $30,000 plus the security deposit and last month payment that I have already paid for.
The $30,000 will be easily recovered once you sell the vehicle at the end of the lease.
You will not have to buy the car out in order to sell, you can find anyone to buy it out and receive the difference all to yourself!!
Call (604)714-6581 Day; or (604) 662-7389 Night
for more details

So, what you are saying is that you will transfer the lease and charge the new lessor $30,000 (Canadian) for the privilege of doing so.
If this is truly the case, then you sir must be on crack! I see from your profile that you are looking for a 993tt. I suppose this could be considered a seriously addicting form of crack! Also, I guess the 996 C2R model must only be available for crackheads, since I have never heard of such a model.
Your residual is pretty damn low at $39,000 ($26,000 US), of course by that time the car will be nearly five years old.
Still, swapalease.com has much better deals. I see a 2002 996 C2's for $750 US a month, 33 months remaining, $48,000 residual, and the buyer is offering to PAY me $2,500 to assume the lease. This kind of deal could even make sense for a poor old 951 owner.

Price is in Canadian right? Thats the exact car I'd buy if I were to get a brand new 996... if only I weren't buying a condo and having to pay mortgage, then maybe I could afford those monthly payments! Wow.. Good luck on the sale.
