Another Newbie
Hello All,
I have monitored this board on and off for a few months. It is only now, however, that I consider myself worthy to participate.
Although I have owned a Porsche for 2 1/2 years, it is only recently that I placed an order for a 2003 C4S. Oh, the other car of which I speak is a mint condition 1989 928GT. Since I really enjoy this car as well (can you sense the inherent conflict with my upcoming 996?), I will be selling my 1999 M3 Coupe in 5-6 months when the C4S arrives.
Just a bit of additional info--I live in the Chicago area and found that most dealers were generally not inclined to discount the C4S much. I was able to get a reasonable discount in the end. . .I think.
As far as the order, it is Black/Black with the PSE, red stitching on everything, red belts, and some other nonsense options. Obviously, I cannot wait and am looking forward to participating on this board as time allows.

Welcome and congrats from a former 928GT owner!! I had an 83 928S 5 speed and replaced that with a 1991 928GT, which was replaced with the current 1999 996 C2 coupe! The 996 is the best of all, but the GT was really close. Good Luck with it...
