When I was checking out all the 996s at the dealership, there was just one guards red one in a sea of silver and black. It stood out like a sore thumb, so I bought it.

I think all colors look great on a Porsche.
Yellow Red and White are the safest. You are seen by other drivers easier.

Seal Gray and Artic Silver you can get away with a few more days before having to wash it.

Black is classy

Blue is classy and different at the same time.

A Porsche is one of the few cars that I think looks great in yellow. If I had one, I would finish it off with some rims with a high gloss black center.

That's exactly what I did.

I do like a 360/430 in yellow too.

Agreed - I think you can get away with yellow with any car from Porsche on up (exotics like Ferrari's, Lambo's, etc). It looks pretty cool on the Lotus as well (I saw one this morning).

I'd buy yellow if it was my weekend car ONLY - as was mentioned earlier, Pcars get enough attention as it is on the day to day.

I love the SY with black interior and yellow stitching and belts. That would be sweet.

I'd take red too.
