I searched the archives and even searched the Tirerack site for an anwer to this question. Can anyone here help me?

You should call them or Wheel Enhancement. I do know the recommended wheel width for a 295/30 x 18 tire is 11 inches.

It probably depends on the tire. Even though tires have the same size written on the sidewall, they do vary quite a bit in roling diameter, overall width, etc. But if you do the conversion, 305mm section width comes out to about 12 inches. I think a 10" wide rim would be too narrow.

It's funny how I don't even think to pick up the phone much anymore. I called Tirerack and they said I need 11X18 or 12X18. I thought that might be the case but in reviewing the archives I "concluded" some might be using 10.5X18 with the 305's. Thanks for the insight

No, it wont fit. Even a 283/30 is a big stretch for a 10" rim. 305 would be dangerous even if it would mount the rim.
