I have used Auto Sportsystems Group (ASG) in Fairfax for the past 10 years. They did all of the work on my previous air cooled 911 and for the past 4+ years have done all of the work on my 996. There are a lot of very good shops around here to choose from who support the local PCA events.

I take mine to Intersport in Tysons. It is about 2 blocks up from Porsche of Tysons (HBL) in the same strip as eCitie's (if you're facing eCitie's Intersport is on the left side.)

Intersport
1524 Spring Hill Rd., Unit H,S
Tysons Corner, VA 22102

Ivan from IMA is a cool guy and I have heard good things about ASG. The only reason I take my car to Intersport is because it is about a mile from my place.

I have had good luck with Curry's in Sterling; however, there is a new shop, Funktion Auto, out near Dulles Airport. I have not used them yet but I have talked to the owner and one of the Porsche mechanics is from Curry's and did great work on my cars. This is a full service shop, repairs, tuning, sales, racing set up, storage, etc... check out their web site; however, again I have not had the chance to use them yet so my recomendation can only go so far.
