Post What an Idiot....

Okay, now I really need help. I was tightening the three 13 mm nuts that held the bolts to the struts on the front of my 996. This is in the front under the plastic shroud that covers the air filter. One of the bolts snapped right flush against the car's frame. I was tighnening it to about 30 ft/lbs when this happened. Where can I get a replacement part for this and what is the torque setting?

The correct torque setting is 24ftlb.
Drill out the snapped bolt and replace with a new M8 nut/bolt.

Hey, satisfaction guaranteed. Puts most dealers' service department to shame.
