Depends on how deep and where the scratches are.
Best bet: contact some highline dealers near you (Porsche, Mercedes, BMW) and ask the service manager who does their wheel touchup. Most places have one guy who travels between them to do this on site.
I had my first 18" turbo look scrape sent to a body shop for repair - 3 days, about $80 (3 years ago). Second one was done at my office in less than an hour. Perfect both times.
But much depends on the depth of the damage and the location on the wheel.
Check around first.
Just food for thought.

I am in NC, however I was fortunate because the guy I used for the on-site work came independently. Now most dealers want you to bring the car in and leave it (less convenience).
Email me if you need specific details or are in NC and I can give you a name/number.

My local autobody shop has a company, I believe "Wheels America" that they send the wheel to and it is repaired in one day. I payed about $125 to have my 18" turbo twist repaired and rebalanced. If they can't repair it, they send it back at no charge.

It's definitely worth talking to a decent body shop. I'm always amazed at the way that they can get a wheel back to 'as new' for $150.
Of course, if it's bent then that's another matter altogether.

Dear Bloke:
If you're looking for someone in the NYC area try Marmin Auto Collision on East 73rd street. I had some scrathes on one of the wheels of my '99 996 and they buffed it out and refinished for $75
