Question Fixed wing for C4S Cab

Anyone ever see a fixed wing that has the wrap around reflector for a C4S Cab?

How much of a wing do you want, Rob? There are several that replace the rising spoiler, leaving the decklid in place, Misha's for ex., I'd recommend a smaller spoiler for a cab. The factory aerokit ( not sure you can put it on a cab) replaces the whole decklid and you just put your strip on it, pre drilled. I'll post a pic of my oem aero today, thet are pricey though, 4-7k at the dealer, got mine off ebay.

Mischa has done some wonderful things with custom/bespoke wings for 996s/etc. check out some of the work at 6speedonline

Here's my oem wing.
(excuse the snow rims and tires)
Here's an old shot of my car with Misha's wing.( pre x73, look at that drop brother!) Also note the inherent aerodynamic differences btwn the two, they offer completely different ad chacteristics. Note the different ht, angle of attack, lateral extension/added drag. Misha's is a great product for the money, but you just can't beat the factory RandD.

Misha makes very nice stuff, although I think the factory aero kit wing is the best looking on a C4S

That factory wing looks like it is supposed to be on that car.....absolutely beautiful! The misha wing you had just looks bulky and out of place.

Can you add on that rear reflector piece onto a regular C2? does it just attach to the bottom lip of the engine hatch? or is it a completely different hatch with the reflector added on...

Never noticed how cool the car looks with the reflector piece in the middle!!!!

Thanks,
Will

The reflector strip will only fit a C4S, it bolts on with 8 bolts. I have seen an aftermarket 'stick on strip' for a c2, but it looked like hell.

Chris,

I still haven't found a pic of a C4S cab with a fixed wing... not sure how it would look. If I find a pic I'll post it.

I saw a c4s cab on rennteam a while back with a carrera type oem spoiler, looked pretty good, low key. I think the MishaGT2 would be a little too 'in your face' on a cab, hell it was on my coupe. The oem flows much better with the lines of the car.
