Default Caught by Lidar detector

Driving over the Verrazano Bridge Sat morn @ 75mph in a 45 zone my detector was in my other car and I was caught by lidar. Is there any way to fight this? I thought I saw a post not too long ago about a published report on the inaccuracy of lidar. Can anyone help.

Since that was in NYC, it goes to the traffic violations adjudication bureau (or something with a similar name). Unfortunately, that means no prosecutor to plea bargain with, as you could in Nassau County. Nonetheless, I would still check with a couple of traffic lawyers to see what they say.
