Well yesterday I had my first experience driving an '03 C4S..... Must say I enjoyed it quite a lot. My stepdad was nice enough to let me drive it around town for a little bit, nothing crazy. I have been eyeing his car for ages, and before this he had a 993 C4S.

I drive an E36 M3 back home on the east coast, and this was a nice change, really tight, steering and everything. Now I have to work on moving myself to one of these cars... maybe for a summer car in several years nice thought anyway.

There's something about the 911 that just gets into your blood. I drive my C4S everyday, and when I have to drive another car it feels so numbing.

 

The 911 is the best overall sports car I have ever owned. I get excited every time I turn the key. There will be one in my garage until I am in the dirt.

Having owned two e36s M3s (and currently a 5 series but don't tell anyone) I can say there is nothing like a Porsche. There is no substitute, not even the ultimate driving machine. I am tempted to trade my relatively new BMW on any 911. It would most likely be a 964 or 3.2 Carrera because the 996s haven't depreciated enough yet and the 993s just won't, ever.
