Post West Coast Driver's Ed

My company may want to move me to SF. I am spoiled here with the amount of Driver's Ed events available nearby. What is the schedule in the bay area? Can you get regular access to Sears, Laguna, Buttonwillow, and Willow Springs through local PCA events? If so, how often. Thanks for the help.

Can't speak for PCA, but check out www.tracquest.com. Todd Serota also puts on DE events at a few of those tracks.

Yes, yes, yes and yes.
Lots of events put on by the many PCA regions (Golden Gate, Diablo, Loma Prieta, Monterey Bay, Redwood and Sacramento Valley). Not to mention the other Porsche clubs, BMW clubs, etc., etc. Both Sears Point and Laguan Seca have full time driver schools at the track.

Besides Tracquest there is also Donutz High Performance Driver's Education program

Say it ain't so, Dave. Who are we going to get to run pit out if you move to SF?

Thanks for the info. The one seems a bit pricey but Donutz seems a good value. Karl, don't get too worried yet. Earliest is 4th quarter of this year.

Check out WWW.THUNDERHILL.COM in Willows,CA near Sacramento under Street School. Costs $195 for the DE event and groups divided by 3 groups(A,B and C which A for beginner C for advanced)-you get about 5 track sessions. A/B use half the track, C uses whole track. Regards.Mike
