Riad - I did a search on Tire Rack and found nothing for 18" rims for your C4S Cab.

Yup me too! That's why I asked, maybe it's only something that Porsche can order?

I have 17" snows now, but I bent the right rear rim and need a new rim and tire. But tire rack will not have the rim until late Feb... so I need to put my 18's back on.

Doh!

Riad,

I reread your message and need to update my earlier response. I am not running stock turbo twists as I have winter wheels. I have a 2004 C4S with Pirelli 240 Snow Sports. The fronts are 225/40 18 and the rears are 265/35 18. The rears are equipped with spacers. This is the second season and I have found them to be very good. Let me know of any questions.

for thr price of a nice set of 18in wheels and tires you can buy a winter beater and put the C4S away for the nice days.

Problem is Riad's car has 11" rims on the back, that's too wide for a 265.
If you're interested, I may sell my winter rims and tires w/ spacers/bolts, let me know Rob.

Chirs, do you have 18" winter tires?

Oh no, never. I love driving my C4s in the snow, soooo much fun. And the look on people's faces when you zoom up a snow covered hill in your C4s cab.

Did you call Wheel Enhancement to see if they have the wheel you need?

I don't think snow tires are available for the 11" rear wheel. Porsche recommend a 10" wheel with a 265/35 tire. From the manual:

Code:
911 Carrera 4S

Summer tires
          Tire Rim Rim offset Track
   front 225/40 ZR 18 8 J x 18 H2 50 mm 57.9 in./1472 mm
   rear 295/30 ZR 18 11 J x 18 H2 45 mm 60.2 in./1528 mm
or rear 295/30 ZR 18 11 J x 18 H2 63 mm (only with 17 mm spacer ring) 60.1 in./1526 mm

Snow tires
           Tire Rim Rim offset Track
    front 225/40 R 18 88H M+S 8 J x 18 H2 50 mm 57.9 in./1472 mm
    rear *265/35 R 18 93H M+S 10 J x 18 H2 47 mm 60.0 in./1524 mm

Wheel Enhancement would be a good place to look for the Porsche 47mm rear wheel. If you don't need a high end wheel, you might consider a reproduction:

Repros

I have no experience with these wheels.

I just checked their site. It looks like I could get the OEM 17" Turbo Look rear wheel (17x9) to match the Mille Miglia Cup 3's I have on the car... I don't see the Dunlop Winter M3's so I might have to order the tire from Tirerack. But I'll call WheelEnhancement on Monday.

Nice. Looks like I'm going to have to replace my 17" rim, otherwise I have to order 18" rims and tires... I don't want to do that right now.

Quick Reply: Do they make 18" snow tires that would fit my stock turbo twists?
