Cool Interesting MY2003 Article

Could it really be that Porsche may bring back the GT3 and actually import it to the US this time. Here is an interesting article.

As much as I would love to see the GT3 brought to the US, there are some big problems with it. First it is inherently a different motor than any other Porsche brings to the US and hence would require full emissions certifications (read $$$$) and secondly the right height issue. The GT3's sport suspension is much lower than the ROW 030 which is much lower than anything in the US. I hate so say it, but it seems unlikely that the GT3 that we want would come here. maybe weill will see a different version based on the Carrera engine and not the TT motor and a little less extreme. But then whouldn't that be a C2S? Anyones guess is good for now. I'm doing my best to make my one GT3 for now.
