Question How to firm up the rear end.

There seems to be a significant disconnect between my butt and the rear tires as they become really loaded-up in a corner. It feels like a pretty significant shift and I'm wondering where it might be coming from. I've heard from one person that the mounts between the engine "cradle" and the chassis are the culprits. Is it that or just cumulative bushing deformation of control arms, etc.? I haven't found any replacment bushings for the 996 other than shock bearings. Are the motor mounts listed in X51 kits the fix? Are there bushings that come with the X74(?) suspension kit that would help?

Yes, x51 mounts might help.

Thank you.
Are the X51 mounts between the motor and "cradle" as my friend calls it or between the "cradle" and body?

interesting I have never heard that x51 mounts are different. I guess they're like the rs mounts for a 993 turbo but probably not as radical?
