Question Ready to buy a used 996, but I need a little help with colors...

OK guys and gals, I've got the local high-line dealer here in town on the hunt for a 1999 996-series C4 Coupe for me! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> Now my problem is that for some reason I can't find a lot of pictures on the Internet to decide what colors I like, and even some of the pictures I do find are really bad. I didn't like Lapis Blue (sp?) at all because of a pic I saw on the Internet a couple days ago, but I just saw someone here (Dave In WA I think?) post a pic of his on another post and it's beautiful! So I was wondering if you guys could post a quick pic of your cars and say what color it is, assuming it was an available color for 1999 or 2000. And I don't even need a bunch of pics, maybe just a 3/4 front or 3/4 rear shot to get an idea. Thank you so much!

Go to Yoseif's site. Most of the pics are Boxsters but the colors are the same and their are some Carreras.

Loren,
Wow, thank you SOOO much! What a great site! The variety of photos also helped me figure out if I liked certain colors only in direct sunlight or all the time. I still have one question though: I found a lot of colors I really like and will accept, but 3 of them that I like (Lapis Blue, Meridian and Seal Grey) show as not being available until 2001 on the BOXSTER color chart. Can anyone confirm if these were available or not for a C4 during 1999/2000? Thanks again Loren!

PS- Although I no longer need photos posted, I would like to see a photo of an "Iris Blue" car as it was listed on the color chart for 1999/2000 but there were no photos. Thanks!

Could it possibly have been moi? The link in my sig has more pics of my cab. Most were taken on a pretty sunny day. Yoseif also has a few pics of my car on his sight. Good Luck

Dave, I mean Rob, yes it was you. Beautiful car, but I just found out that color wasn't available until 2001, and one that new is out of my budget, especially considering I really want a C4 Aero.
