Learning racing

I would like to learn about the various levels of professional racing (e.g. NASCAR, GT, F1, etc.). Anyone know of a website or book(s) that would be a good introduction.

I don't know what you mean by "GT" but here is a partial list of different series and their websites. I am not sure of one website that details all of motorsports. Best thing to do is get SpeedTv, they show events from all over the world in all kinds of cars, from stock cars to rally.
