Default Chicago Independent?

Has anybody had good experiences with an independent mechanic in or near Chicago? I live downtown and would prefer something close by - but I wouldn't mind traveling to the 'burbs if the works is good and the price is right.

Thanks for the help!

Jeff

You can try Midwest Eurosport in Bensenville. They are on Irving Park Road. They are very knowledgeable and support numerous local racers. "Brian" and his brother own the business. They are good! Give Brian a call.

I would second that for Eurosport. I use to live in Chicago and they did all my work. If you need to leave your car overnight, there is a train station very close by that goes right down town.

good luck.

Midwest Eurosport has done work on my past 3 P cars. They are the best in the area. Good guys to deal with as well.

I have also used Golz Motors in Deerfield. They are awesome! I have 3 other friends with Porsche's that use Golz as well. Great guys, great service and always reasonable.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help everyone. I did a search on Google and everyone seems to have great things to say about Midwest Eurosport.

Can any of you remember their labor rate off the top of your heads? Parts prices in comparision to the dealers?

Thanks!
