About Corvettes .. around here most of the vettes I see are driven by women - usually blonde, fancy nails and artifical 'frontage'.

This is very common with many cars driven by kids... I was a stupid kid once too so I don't get too upset. I just smile and wave

You're right! I'm must be turning into a grumpy old bastard already. I guess I bought the Porsche, now I need to loosen up a little bit!

Honda's, Subis, VW's, station wagons, state police....had them all but again....I was young once too and recall those days. I try not to give the kids the "typical sterotype" of a Porsche owner but usually compliment their cars. I ask questions about their modifications, have an interest in their work and try to tell them to set goals in life. Remember we were all young once and dreamed about owning a Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, etc...

Yes, I find the subs etc fun and interesting. I had an sti wrx wirring and stirring at a light one time, it was popping the blow off etc, very cool sounds. He was souped up quite a bit and was very proud of his car, nice kid. He was right there with me as long as the cars were under 100. He admitted the car was gutless on the hwy and only liked to challenge at the lights for this reason.

im under 25 have an STI and dont race on the street, its just like the stereotype that porsche drivers are rich old guys that can't drive....

PS. 996 1/4 mile 13.2
STI 1/4 mile 13.5 not leagues off

Is there such a stereotype? I always thought the Porsche stereotype was "Handsome, intelligent, age defying, finanacially secure with a rugged individualistic streak and mad skills".

And the down side of that would be......?

Now, all we need to do is convince them to put a clear bra on that artifical 'frontage'!
