Don,

What a beauty! Seeing this picture also reminds me of my visit to your area last summer. My fiance had just graduated from Harvard Grad School, so we took a few days and drove down to that little town (don't remember the name)where you catch the ferry into Martha's Vineyard. We stayed at this great little B&B overlooking the bay. Memories....

Looks terrific, and naturally we all assumed you meant the car. Now if the northeast would just warm up. My heater was working overtime just to keep up with an open sunroof.

Looks great but she needs an attitude adjustment. Lowering her with some p-ss9's are just what is in order.

Greg, it's a C4 and would cost a small "4tune" to do that.

And Robert, you were a loooong way from home on your trip to the Cape.

Don,

Capecod is a beautiful part of the East Coast.
You are very fortunate.

I have to live near the ocean. Though I chose the other coast.

Is there anything you HAVEN'T done or added to Misty??? And I thought I added a lot.. 8-)
She must be a full time project.

Hey, what about Porsche valve stems and caps??
I did get the chrome lugs nuts like you.

Misty's looking fine Don.

Easter was the first real comfortable day for top down driving here in the great NW.

Don't forget to bring in the paper.

Don,

Looks great! I especially like the rear wing and front bumber screens painted to match.

If you don't mind repeating yourself, as I know you have posted many times regarding your upgrades, but would you please tell me what "brand" your front end, side skirts and rear wing are? Also, is your rear bumper and upgrade?

I have a my2000 996 (I realize your my is newer) and have been very interested in upgrading the body. I love the RUF RGT body kit, but it is a little pricey. I want a front bumper that has the turbo look and I like your rear wing that kind of looks like the 993 Turbo wing. (MA Shaw and Getty Design both have nice ones.)

Any thoughts on the different materials used by after market body kits would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't mind at all Eric. The side skirts and rear wing are 2002 Porsche Tequipment. The rear bumper is just as it came from the factory. The front bumper is from an 02 Turbo, and the inserts were manufactured by Custom Cars Unlimited in LaGrange, Illinois. www..customcarsunlimited.com. PH: 708--354-7888. Ask for Dino. He's done several of these.

I don't know much about other aftermarket pieces for a 2000, but TechArt, Ruf, Gemballa, to name a few. I'd check the Rennlist sponsor list and then go to catalogs. I know that I preferred the flexible poly material over the fiberglass for the pieces. Good luck!
