Post Water leak in 00 Cab

I have a 2000 Cab with 27000 miles. Recently I've noticed a small puddle of green water about the size of a 50 cent piece(remember those) right under the left exhaust tip. I can smell engine water occasionaly. Should I be worried? I am one of those that had a bad rear main seal in a 99, so I am a little gunshy about engines still.

Thanks

Haven't had that kinda thing happened but green water sounds like coolant is leaking. Have you checked if cap to coolant is tite and was there overfill of coolant?. With puddle of size of half dollar doesn't seem big enough to be a problem but if you can't find answers here probably check every morning for next 2-3 days see if it persists or not and if it does I would have it checked by the dealer. Hope it's a small problem. Mike

Bill - it's coolant. See posts from me and Paul in CA on funcarsonline. You either have a faulty cap or a craked coolant tank. Both known problems. Run to your local dealer!

Good luck.

Brent
