Just wondering if anyone on the board has put headers, cats and exhaust on their 996. I have a 2003 and am wondering if there will be a noticable power gain? Is there a good sound improvement? and are there any negative effects (i.e. engine light coming on, etc.) FYI the comonents will all be FVD.

Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had equal length headers from FVD. GT3 sport exahaust and stock C2 mufflers with the pipe inside the muffler connected straight thru.
Very loud, with the straight thru muffler.

Most noticble power gain is from GT3 sport kats.
Equal lenght headers give you a nice burbling sound when backing off.
