Sorry if this is old news but Evo magazine in the UK is saying that 20 RS versions of the GT3 are to be brought into the UK at a GBP10K premium to the standard GT3 with slightly higher power and lightened bodyshell and stripped out interior - anyone had any news of this from their dealers?

nope, havent been by a dealership in a long time, but i have read some articles and news about it (i believe porsche purly gt said somthing). its supposed to be a special 30th anniversary car for the 73 carrera rs!!
will have a special spoiler/wing on the rear (only for this car!.. just like how the duck tail was only on the orig 73 rs), painted wheels and carrera silhouette on the side (ala 73 carrera rs!), lightened as much as possible, and some other special mods.
sounds like one great idea! i am a big fan of history and a purist of some sorts, so i pray to god this car does come out. there is no better way porsche could commemorate the anniversary than with somthing like this!

Like the '73 RS it won't be coming to the US. Based on the description of the changes it wouldn't meet DOT requirements. At least we still get the "regular" '04 GT3.
